Mayor's Message

Greetings Springdale!

The holiday season is upon us! Please make sure to click the link to the Mayor's Newsletter below and review the upcoming events section of the newsletter to stay up to date on important Town events.

A General Election was held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, for the
purpose of electing three Councilmembers. Councilmembers Steve
Hallman and Viki Fecas were succesful in retaining their seats and
Cory Hook was elected to fill the seat that will be vacated by
Councilmember Nancy Peters at the end of her term in January.
Councilmember Peters decided not to file for the election. We are
so thankful to Councilmember Peters for all of her hard work and
dedication in representing the Town of Springdale and we are eager
to welcome Cory Hook to Town Council.

We are currently seeking residents who may be interested in
getting involved with the community by serving on a board or
committee. This is a great way to serve your town and provide your
insight to the interests of Springdale. If you or anyone you know
may be interested, please contact Town Hall at 803-794-0408 for
more information.

Chief Richbourg and the Springdale Police Department would like to
encourage residents to avoid leaving running cars unattended and
to lock your vehicles when not in use. Taking these precautions can
greatly reduce your likelihood of becoming a victim of theft.

Finally, I would like to encourage and welcome residents of
Springdale to attend our regular Town Council meetings on the first
Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm. Hope to see you soon!
Sincerely,
Mayor Michael Bishop
